Masks, film looks, easier checkout
- •New film looks in the editor: halation, bloom, grain and gate weave.
- •Put any effect inside or outside a shape, and drag the shape right on the viewer to place it on a face or the sky.
- •New Adjust effect: brighten, warm or saturate just one part of the picture.
- •Auto Edit now gently lifts the person in shade and holds back a bright sky, as effects you can change or delete.

Faster imports and exports, steadier picks
- •Importing and analysing footage is faster: HEVC clips from your Mac are read on the hardware decoder, the local model stays warm between imports, and the app opens a little quicker.
- •Exports with effects and the Color tab are noticeably faster, with identical pictures.
- •A rough view shows shaky, soft, dark and duplicate clips within seconds of import, before the slower analysis finishes.
- •Timecode in Final Cut, Resolve and Premiere files now matches your footage, including drop-frame 29.97 and 59.94.

Finished edits, better color
- •Auto edits now come out finished: music under the voice, smoother cuts and dissolves, gentle push-ins and word captions, in the editor and in your Final Cut, Resolve and Premiere files.
- •Smarter cutting: each clip is trimmed to its best moment, talk is cut on the words, and weak shots are dropped.
- •Better color: more natural skin tones, safer fixes for badly exposed shots, and gentler grades on phone and low-bitrate footage.
- •More reliable: big imports start on the first 10 clips right away, and when Gemini hits its daily limit the rest carries on with Argus or Cloud.
